Well now I have to say I take my hat off to the inventor of this particular gadget.

floatingsnacktray.jpgThe floating snack tray may not be too useful in the winter months in the UK but once the sun re-emerges you'll be delighted you invested in this beauty.

In fact this remote controlled gadget is so popular that it's sold out on most of the websites I've seen.
As gifted as the product itself is the sales pitch is similarly impressive, it goes something like this:

"It has happened to almost all of us. We're comfortable, cool, and content floating in the pool or lake and a pang of hunger and thirst strikes. What do you do? Get out of the water and track wet footprints all the way to the kitchen? Yell until someone brings you something to eat? Now you don't have to do either with the Remote-Controlled Floating Serving Tray.

That's right, the snacks will float alongside you and come to you when you need them. The serving tray features drink holders that will hold up to five, 12 oz. cans or bottles of you favorite summer beverage. Fill the bowl in the center of the tray with 16 oz. of a sweet or salty snack such as chips, jellybeans, or crackers. And you won't have to worry about any of getting wet because the floating tray with not capsize.

So before you dive into the water fill your floating snack tray with whatever you need to quench your hunger and thirst. The remote has a range of 25 feet and you can make the tray go left, right, forward, backward, and even rotate 360 degrees."

Now how could anyone turn down a product like this?
