NetPlay TV plc, the interactive gaming company, has achieved record figures for its Live Roulette show by breaking through the threshold of £1 million worth of bets in a day. During the first three days of April, gross bets totalled £2.91 million.

The company says that it now delivers over £6 million in payouts every month through Live Roulette. Acquired by NetPlay in December 2006, Live Roulette is aired on Sky Television 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Customers place their chips either through the website or via telephone and watch live on TV as a presenter spins the roulette wheel.

Martin Higginson, Chairman and Chief Executive of NetPlay TV plc, said: "Exceeding £1m of bets in a single day is another milestone for the business. When we acquired the 'Live Roulette' business just over 12 months ago, average daily bets were just over £100,000. To grow this by ten times is a real credit to the entire NetPlay TV team."

Later this year, Live Roulette will be expanding its offering to form the basis for the integration of the company's new brand, Super Casino, under which other games such as Live BlackJack will be offered.

Shares in NetPlay TV (LSE:NPT) rose 9.2% to close at 23.75 pence following the announcement yesterday in London.
